Okay, this tape has been out for a minute, but it has stayed so HEAVILY in rotation that I had to post. This is the second tape in a couple of weeks hosted by Don Cannon (the first being Trae's 'Undisputed') that plays just so damn beautifully and SL Jones has stamped his identity all over this one! Featuring production from the aforementioned Don Cannon, heavy hitters like Shawty Redd and Lex Luger ('Driveby Music' we featured on '600%') and personal favourites like M16, each producer has laced Jones with the perfect backdrop for his effortless, charismatic persona. The features from the likes of Trae, Waka Flocka and long-time homies Killer mike and Pill all serve to compliment the ill song-concepts and delivery and when Jones flows on 'Walking Investment' you'll be begging for the rewind even before it hits. Seriously, cop this one…
