In case you didn’t already know, SF’s finest Roach Gigz released debut album ‘Bugged Out’ just over a week ago and it’s already topping iTunes charts with zero promo. This is testament to Roach spending the last year touring very heavily and converting or consolidating hundreds upon thousands of fans who are just gagging for new material.
The Aris Jerome-directed ‘Different’ kicks off the promotional push, where people outside of California and his current global fanbase can realise just how dope this young artist is.
For long-time Gigz fans like us, it’s pretty much exactly what we’d hoped for except we couldn’t have predicted he’d do everything bigger and better while at the same time keeping it diverse, cohesive, accessible and, most importantly, truly Bay.
A real triumph for a rapper who you just know has so much more to give.
