With Underground Atlanta, Killer Mike and Grind Time’s new double disc mixtape (out now on SMC) steady heating up the streets, airwaves and whatever it is that holds this internet thing together, the standout track from a project full of standout tracks is by Grip Plyaz, from ATL’s 4th Ward. Grip just seems like he’s brimming with belly fire, represents Atlanta’s underground fervently, and really hammers his point home on what he’ll probably agree is his biggest statement of intent yet with ‘Fuck Dat Hipster Shit’.

Now this video, featuring Grip, Young Trimm and A.leon Craft (from Da Backwudz), is for a track off a compilation album by SMKA called ‘The 808 Experiment Vol. 1′, which really is as good as it sounds.
