This kind of thing really doesn’t happen often. So, take it in. Really stop for a second and give props to Young Money’s second most unhinged, musical genius for molesting this Chase & Status track. You dream of all your favourite rappers demolishing a dubstep beat, but when it comes down to it, few of the best could really even, or would really ever, make the albeit temporary water-tester seem credible, let alone do so with anything approaching Nicki’s trademark apathetic verve. And while it’s our everything at the moment, ultimately this is nothing. We can only imagine what this girl’s gonna do when she properly, actually drops.

man that beat is dope. UK leads the way in those grimey electro beats for sure. when dizzee did a show in atlanta and put on “stop dat” the place just went nuts. theres lots of potential in these kinds of collabos if you ask me
Spot on Max. It’s always high risk, but when these collabos work they’re literally better than anything else. Eve couldn’t quite make it work because for some reason they chose an uncharacteristically mundane Benga beat but it does show there’s a new found appetite for this shit.
