After Kurupt’s energised performance all over his and Quik’s concise Blaqkout project, it shouldn’t really be as much of a surprise as it feels that the new DPG album, the pair’s seventh official studio project, ‘That Was Then This Is Now’, is as banging as it is. Here’s just a taste, all bass, beeps and beat changes under Kurupt’s breathless and Daz’s infectiously asthmatic flow. They could just be back.
