L.E.$.’s ‘Settle For L.E.$. – The Fixtape’ (available for free download right here) has been in heavy rotation since it dropped, not least because of the calming, warming effect it offers over 20 tracks, making it this year’s perfect winter night riding soundtrack. It doesn’t hurt L.E.$. either that he often sounds like a kind of Paul Wall and Curren$y gumbo filtered through the soul and spirit of the late Pimp Chad. Here are two of the highlights, but the quality truly doesn’t dip below either. This will go down as one of 2009′s stealth releases in the weeks and months to come. Enjoy.
