It’s songs like this that make Memphis legend Playa Fly the artist you’d reach for if you were facing a stretch on Alcatraz, a desert island or, worse, a long wait outside the ladies changing room at Top Shop. The way the song cries so beautifully and with Fly doing what he does with such warmth and depth, really makes one wonder what damage he could do to a custom Block Beattaz production. But we get that feeling a lot. Sincere thanks to Haze @ DGB for blessing us with this one.
Here’s the original, less acoustic version, off Fly’s ‘Prepare Or Beware (Da Mafia Massacre)’ mixtape from 2008, which if you don’t got it get it. Now.
