This is why the new E-40 albums are truly great. For amongst all the cutting edge Bjork sampling madness and futuristic mobb slaps he laced his pops with, Droop-E shows why he’s one of the most versatile and gifted producers in the game today with this haunting, reflective gem. This has been my most played record of the last few weeks, from my most played album of the year. Oh yeah, and getting Mike Marshall on the hook is just so right.
