Southern Hospitality is a London-based DJ collective and record label. Formed in 2004 by DJs Rob Pursey and Superix, with Davey Boy Smith joining in 2008, the Southern Hospitality team is now known across the world for throwing the wildest parties and championing the best music with unparalleled passion and work ethic.
Rob Pursey is a full time DJ and Club/Events Promoter based in London who has performed at and organised events all around the U.K. as well as the U.S. and Europe.
He is the man behind Hip Hop Karaoke London, the wildly successful, roadblocked weekly club night, which has been featured on ITV2, Channel 4, BBC Radio 1 as well as The Times, the Guardian and pretty much every media outlet inbetween. He has also taken Hip Hop Karaoke to every major UK festival including Glastonbury, Lovebox, Bestival, The Camden Crawl, Port Eliot etc. as well as events for Radio 1 in Ibiza, Nike, Playstation and other high-profile brands.
Rob has perfomed on many tours and at many festivals/showcases (SXSW etc.) with artists/DJs including De La Soul, Jazzie B, Grandmaster Flash, DJ Yoda, Annie Mac, Gang Starr, Rob Da Bank, The Nextmen, Killer Mike, Tech N9ne, Madlib, G-Side to name just a few, and has been found DJing at every major club/concert venue including Brixton Academy, The Forum, Koko, Fabric, Ministry Of Sound etc. He has also released hundreds of mix-CDS and compilations that have received high-praise globally and has worked as writer, consultant and contributing editor for many hip-hop and lifestyle magazines.
He is also DJ for Baby Loves Disco – the daytime parent and child dance phenomenon that has been featured on Dragons Den and has won numerous awards from many family/child related publications and organisations, performing at venues around London and Britain.
With the Southern Hospitality collective he has promoted events all over London including recent phenomenon 'Players Ball' and will be once again taking these events (Hip Hop Karaoke, Players Ball, Baby Loves Disco), his DJ skills and well-renowned passion for music on the road this year to Ibiza, clubs nationwide, student unions and all major festivals throughout 2011 and beyond

Superix is an internationally known DJ, Producer, promoter and designer based in London.
As a DJ he has played at hundreds of events in the UK, including Glastonbury, Bestival & Lovebox festivals + events in Europe, the US & Japan tearing it up on the turntables alongside massive artists & true legends in both the UK and international music scenes such as; Afrikaa Baamabata, DJ Yoda, Jazzy Jeff, Kenny Dope, Souls Of Mischief, The Nextmen, 808 State, Goldie and Grooverider to name but a few.
His massive library of carefully crafted & highly praised mixtapes over the years can be found in stores across Europe, Asia and the states and have also downloaded & streamed tens of thousands of times. He's been comissioned for many mixes including by the BBC for the UK's no.1 Urban music station Radio 1Xtra to produce a special 2 hour mix as part of their 'All Star Mix' show, previous DJs included were: Mark Ronson, Chase & Status, MistaJam, DJ Yoda, Kon & Amir & MJ Cole. His highly praised 'Ultimate, Ultimate, Ultimate' mix which was a world first, mixed every break (over 160) from the the famous 'Ultimate Breaks and Beats' series.
As a producer Superix brings his passion & quality control for music one step further and is working on a solo production project and also with some of the Worlds new and exciting upcoming musical talent. On top of all this, he also is a successful designer & Art Director and works with massive brands and publications across both traditional print & digital publishing worlds, including: Esquire, Cosmopolitan, Keep A Child Alive, Arise magazine, Malmaison, Kurt Geiger & Mercedes.

Davey Boy Smith
Davey Boy Smith is a London-based DJ, promoter, artist manager and music consultant.
He is currently working with some of the world's most exciting established and up and coming artists and producers from both the hip-hop and electronic music worlds, helping to bridge the gap between the scenes, while making some incredible music in the process. DBS is now one of the first people labels of all sizes and persuasions go to for a perfectly executed project. And the music in the pipeline, due for release on Southern Hospitality and other labels, is so explosive we've had to build a new pipeline.
As a DJ, Davey has performed at club nights, artists showcases, music festivals and album and magazine launch parties across the world. He is co-founder of London's crunkest club night PLAYERS BALL, which attracts people from all over the UK and Europe. He has also appeared alongside Sean Garrett, Tech N9ne, Killer Mike, Trae, Young L, G-Side, Roach Gigz, Stunnaman, Chiddy Bang, Mistah FAB, Erk Tha Jerk, Bliss & Eso and more, with a number of massive events lined up in 2011 at clubs and festivals in the UK and beyond.
