This is one of those rare occasions where the words to a song are more important than the music. We experienced it recently in tracks such as the epic Slow Motion Soundz and Alabama Hustle Unit collaboration on G-Side’s Huntsville International project between ST, Clova and my personal verse of 2009 from Bentley on ‘In The Rain’. Then we had Bloody Sunday from the Cole Boyz in the first leak from our collaborative mixtape project with Governed By Loyalty in the ATL (Southern Loyalty dropping February 22nd). And now Big K.R.I.T. – someone who has been on the cognoscenti’s┬álips for a while, but who is now approaching his debut project ‘K.R.I.T. Wuz Here’ and inevitable success – who comes realer, deeper and more Pimp C than anyone else this year. Feel this.
