For the most part, there hasn’t been anything as anti-climactic in recent years as the new wave of hip-hop/electronic collaborations. But Paris techno legend and genuine rap fanatic Brodinski’s upcoming Brava album, which is chock full of a real connoisseur’s list of rap collaborators, is a distinct exception to the rule.

‘Us’ goes beyond that though.

The combination of Young Thug affiliate Bloody Jay’s impassioned chorus, Brodi’s driving, triumphant production and, crucially, Jeremie Rozan’s perfectly judged, conceived and executed vision and direction, makes this one of the best releases of 2015.
