What you may not know is that he also produces for his North Memphis fam Crime Lords, which at one time or another included Lil Yo (who would later become ya boy Yo Gotti) and someone else you may have heard of (if you have ears that is), a Mr Drumma Boy.
As Dre himself said, “How many of y’all bustaz can say you got on a Drumma Boy track before the fame came???” For real. (The above image is the cover to the Lords’ ‘Hustlaz Dream’ LP, which features production from Drumma, Dre and Blackout; plus it’s rare as fuck… but you can cop it @ Krooked Kingdom.)
Peep these two tracks from the Crime Lords album sampler and keep your eyes and ears open for more music from Dre and his people.
