Having lived through the many incarnations of the extended Hypnotize Camp Posse: the Chromes, the Yung Ds, the Grandaddy Soufs and Boogiemanes; we were understandably hesitant to fully embrace V-Slash (okay maybe not V-Slash), Lil Reno, Billy Wes and co as we did earlier, longer-lasting click members like T-Rock, Frayser Boy and the still going strong Lil Wyte, but, as is evident in this new posse cut, and across the entire The Takeova album, this might be the strongest formation we’ve seen in years around the Paul, Juicy and Pat shaped core. And it’s truly a beautiful thing.
