This is a bit of a moment. One of the world’s most fascinating sound crafters, Warp Records artist Babe Rainbow, whose music engrosses, envelops and, on a good day, transports your mind to a prison inside a black hole, has of late started experimenting with screwing and chopping music to his excellent taste. He even went as far as hosting an all-slow-mo music event ‘Screw The Right Thing’ in Vancouver recently alongside fellow, esteemed Canadian producer CFCF.

Babe’s latest mix (cop the first one here) is called Let Me Buy You, Anne Drank Vol. 1 and features Freddie Gibbs, Odd Future, Young Gully, Squadda B from Main Attrakionz and G-Side, all of which you may have heard of if you’re into the best music out…

The G-Side remix is really close to our hearts though, as Southern Hospitality was in attendance at the Oslo date of their Norway tour, the day before ‘Money In The Sky’ was conceived, produced and vocalled. That’s right, the Basmo Family producers created the soundscape for this track, hungover, that very Sunday morning. ST and Clova poured their souls all over it and Chris Lee infused the song with his.

This is Cameron Reed aka Babe Rainbow’s interpretation. And it’s beautiful.
