Bay Area duo Main Attrakionz won many plaudits scaling the primarily internet-rooted indie rap scene of the last few years with their own brand of hazy lo-fi hip-hop, which was always more about vibes and textures than verses and hooks. But for anyone who enjoyed their music while secretly hoping for something higher fidelity, MondreM.A.N.’s new solo album ‘They Say I Struggle Rap’ may just be what you’ve been waiting for.

San Francisco based indie label SWTBRDS accepted the challenge, with label head and producer Al Jieh exec-producing and actually producing the whole project, and in doing so giving it the focus, cohesiveness and warmth required to best display Mondre’s talents.
