We genuinely believed songs like Rising Sun and Somebody were pretty rare events where Huntsville’s young elite would reflect on their lives from the beginning to the now, suck up all those hardships and moments of hope and just channel the thoughts and emotions into one track that feels like it was recorded in one take.

It turns out this kind of music is becoming more the rule than the exception. And as the city’s driving force, Codie G, says in the release, those hardships won’t be forgotten, but they will be converted into positive energy and great music:
