As well as containing what might be the most transcendent verse of the year courtesy of Thizz veteran Rydah J. Klyde on So Much Pain, one of the most spine-tingling musical moments of the year in the form of E-40’s heavyweight entrance on Feel’n Like Pac, and one of the cleanest, meanest basslines of the year on Don’t Get It Confused courtesy of The Mekanix, Trip’n 4 Life also, chiefly, contained some absolutely vital performances from the man himself, Oakland’s Philthy Rich, on each of the album’s 18 tracks. ‘Speak’n On The Kid’ is one such example.

Update: Likewise the Town ode ‘Oakland, California’.
