Repping ‘New’ Memphis in what feels like an attempt to escape what a periphery of artists from the city might see as a devil-shaped, body in the trunk-themed pigeonhole, Skewby’s hopes for success will be buoyed by the fact that the shit sounds so damn fresh, cerebral and yet not too highfalutin.
