Rappers doing freestyles or cover versions of other rappers’ songs is one of the less inspiring aspects of modern music. Once in a while though you get something like Slim Thug’s reworking of Yo Gotti’s ‘Errrybody’, which completely flips the script.
Thug isn’t the star of the show here though. But his co-sign of some of the leaders of Texas’s extremely exciting #sauce movement is significant.
The Sauce Factory members Sauce Walka and Sancho Saucy, joined by Moe Gang’s Lil JP, tear the proverbial out of Non-Stop’s beat, with Walka giving one of the most intense opening verses of the year.
Enjoy. And keep your eyes and ears peeled for more on the #sauce movement right here.
