Southern Hospitality and our brothers from other mothers over at Fat Lace Magazine have joined forces to commemorate the nuptials of William and Kate in the only way appropriate. Celebrating the rich Royal heritage in the world of hip-hop, this mix contains the Monarchs that have actually played a significant role in our lives from King Tee to Queen Mother Rage, Prince Lover Dalu to Princess Ivori. Whilst ‘technically’ unofficial this mix that will no doubt be the jump-off for Wills, Kate and their rowdy best man after all the pre-party stuff at Westminster Abbey.

Massive shout out to Superix on the supreme mixing (man this jams!) editing, all round coordination and designing skills!!! Also of course a huge shout out to the Fat lace Crew – Dan Large, Drew Huge and Barrie Bee!

‘We’re mostly a cynical bunch here at the Fat Lace bunker of nerds, and we realise that some of you may have come here to find an antidote to the wall-to-wall coverage of the latest regal sham marriage (although we’d be lying if we said we didn’t want to get cloth tit and possibly fish fingers off Monie-in-the-Middleton). So take this how you want to: As a soundtrack to your enjoyment of the royal nuptials or as a soundtrack to your scowling refusenik activity.

Compiled by us and our Brothers from Other Mothers over at Southern Hospitality, mixed by the one and only DJ Superix, it’s free for y’all to download and stream, but do us a favour and share it on Twitter, Facebook, your own site and then bumrush the boombox at your street party and pump it hard while the Iceland prawn party rings fester in the sun. That’s your pomp and masters of ceremony right there.’
