Southern Hospitality is proud to present the international production debut of our very own, respected UK club and mixtape DJ Superix. One third of the Southern Hospitality family, and creator of the critically acclaimed Ultimate, Ultimate, Ultimate project as well as countless mixtapes, Superix has been promoting and spinning all of the latest, greatest music out of the Bay Area for over a decade. So it was only fitting that he sought the region’s hottest young artists to bless his first track.

Oakland’s Young Gully is renowned for being one of the rawest young rappers in the Bay. Protégé of Nas and Common’s former and Lil Kim’s current tour DJ, The Whole Shabang boss DJ Fresh, Gully is set for big things in 2010 following his Definition Of Gas single and essential album ‘The Tonite Show With Young Gully’, which made our albums of the year list in 2009. Cop it right here.

San Francisco’s Roach Gigz needs no introduction. One of the Bay’s most exciting and charismatic characters, Roach’s elastic vocals and bottomless gas tank have a major buzz up and down the west coast right now as he prepares to drop his hotly anticipated ‘Roach Balboa’ mixtape, hosted by DJ Racks. Check the leaks right here.

Stik Gilatine is the undisputed prince of the San Jose underground. One of the brightest stars from Playa Rae’s Monstaville camp, Stik is a prolific night-time writer, exceptional lyricist and a genuinely nice guy. Make sure you cop his free album ‘The Fly Guy’, which we’ve had on repeat all year, right here.
