No question, The Mekanix have soundtracked some of the music that has truly meant the most to Southern Hospitality over the last few years – largely with their long-time collaborator and one of the greatest rappers on the planet, J. Stalin. The fact that we're now going to get a fresh album from this impeccable production team and that this, the lead release, features typically exhilarating performances from the legend Yukmouth, Sick-Wid-It's mighty Laroo and the aforementioned Stalin over one of the most bumpin beats we've heard in a very long time, is the greatest start to 2012 we could have imagined. With the only man you need behind the camera (and a man's name we've probably typed more than most!), Damon Jamal, we can confidently say this is a brand new, stone-cold West Coast classic!
