ricky

Okay, so whilst the online world is temporarily pre-occupied with 50’s relentless (and frighteningly obsessive) character assassination of Ricky Raws, we’ll instead turn our attention to the things we’re enjoying right now and looking forward to (including more issues of the greatest magazine on earth a.k.a. the one above)

– Ryan Leslie’s album – yeah we’ve heard it and yeah it’s classic – check out his great online promo campaign, that even acknowledges the leak.

– New tracks from our favourite underrated producers – namely people like Block Beattaz, Drumma Boi, Mr. Lee, Midnight Black, Shawty Redd, T-Mix, Droop-E, Rick Rock and of course our favourite rated producers like T-Pain, Kanye, Juicy J and DJ Paul and Tricky Stewart.

– More from the best blogs on the  web particularly BLVD. ST – a great mixture of the latest Southern music, Country Rap classics and some good old musical appreciation (remember that?). Props to Burn One and everyone involved.

– Albums from B.O.B., Lil Boosie, Ciara, Curren$y, Shawty Redd, Mistah FAB, Killer Mike, Slim Thug – man too many to mention – but, it goes without saying we need The Dream album already.

– Huntsville Alabama to get the props it deserves – particularly the whole Slow Motion Soundz camp. What up to Codie G and everyone on the grind, making the movement happen.

– The Bay to come back hard with Turf Talk and Traxamillion albums. 2008 was the calm before the storm we hope.

– Supporting dope labels like SMC Recordings – which are still doing things the right way – releasing quality product to the core fanbases. It’s simple, really.

– Of course our residencies at The Social in London – Londond’s most fun night – Hip Hop Karaoke London and our monthly throwdown quite aptly titled Southern Hospitality – see poster for dates below. Not to mention Trill London which has now taken up residency at Plan B in Brixton – get the details here

– We got some dope mixes on the way too – watch this space – HOWEVER in the meantime scroll through the blog for our extensive back catalogue all available for FREE download. Enjoy!

Okay…for now, I’m about to enjoy more of this Snow Day
