We’re used to hearing Oakland’s Young Gully pour his heart out in typically purposeful, unnaturally breathless fashion, but on ‘Grant Station’, the first release from his upcoming ‘The Grant Station Project’, a tribute album to Oscar Grant that is being released with the Grant family’s consent, quite understandably, the imagery is stronger and the impact deeper. The track also features Young D, who is a member of Gully’s Young Hustlaz group.

‘The Grant Station Project’ is dropping in the next couple of weeks.
